On March 11, 2011, ten days before the start of the 2011 Toyko World Figure Skating Championships, a 9.0 earthquake shook the Tohoku region of Japan.
The earthquake and the subsequent tsunami devastated Japan and shocked the whole world.
We send our prayers to all the people that were affected and hope that there will be no more damage.

During all the chaos and shock, there was a lot of talk about the fate of the World Championships.
What would happen to Worlds? Would it be postponed? moved to another country? be canceled?
After much contemplation, the ISU decided that the 2011 World Championships would be delayed and moved to Moscow, Russia (April 24, 2011 ? May 1, 2011).

The fate of Worlds had been decided, but what about Yuna?
Would she compete despite her busy schedule as honorary ambassador of the PyeongChang 2018 Bid Committee?
The only thing that we could do was to wait for her decision.
On March 25, Yuna announced that she would be competing at the World Championships.

The newly scheduled Worlds are coming up next month and Seung-Nyang-Es anxiously wait the return of the ‘Queen’.
We decided that it was time to start project #2 of the "Queen Yuna ♥ Global Seung-Nyang-E Project"

You are probably scratching your head and going “Huh?” right now.
'Yunacon'? Project #2? What do you mean?
We will try to make things clearer in a Q&A format and hope it helps!  :)

Q: What in the world is ‘Yunacon’?
A: It'san icon that symbolizes Yuna!
     Icon + Yuna = Yunacon!

Q: What is this 'Yunacon' project?
A: Well, it's similar to the ‘My Favorite Skater’ project that we did for Yuna's birthday.
Never heard of that project? You can check out  Yuna's Birthday project  (
Link ) to get a better idea.
The only difference is, that this time it is to take a picture (or video) with the 'Yunacon' !

After we receive all the photographs we plan to make a video like ‘My Favorite Skater’ and also a book containing all the pictures sent to us.
The 'Yunacon' book will be in a similar format to the  'Banner Book' that we also did for Yuna's birthday.
( Click
here to see the‘My Favorite Skater’ video. Click here to see the 'Banner Book' images. )

Q: Who made this ‘Yunacon’ ?
A: Feverskating members submitted their icon designs and the icon that got the most votes was selected to be the ‘Yunacon’!
We would like to say thank you to all the artists who sent in their wonderful designs (it was a pity that we could only choose one!)
and of course to all the members who participated in the poll.

01.
The final design. Yuna’s signature ‘Yuna spin’ is the T in “Long Live The Queen”
02. Is an adapted version of design # 01. As you can see the crown is now located on the top of “Queen”
03. A silhouette line version is for people who want to make their ‘Yunacon’ more unique!
You can use crayons, paints, scrap paper, glitter, anything you want!
Get in touch with your inner artist!

★ When you click on “Download Yunacon” you will be able to download a zip file that has all 4 of the Yunacons.
You can pick one that you like the most or you can chose to do all of them!

After the file is unzipped you will find the files with RGB (web use) or CMYK (print use) in the titles.
Because the images are in black there probably won’t be a big difference between RGB or CMYK.
If you have no idea what  RGB or CMYK is it's ok. They are all in JPG format.
You can print out both and see which one you like better! :)

The ‘Yunacon’ project is not aimed at Worlds since there is not much time left..
